In May, 2010; heavy rains from tropical storm Agatha and the lack of maintenance of the collectors likely triggered the collapse of a huge
sinkhole in Guatemala City. The
sinkhole has a depth of 40* meters and a diameter of 21.75* meters (likely to increase).
